Today I created an account on stickk.com, a website that allows you to set-up financial motivations for you to reach personal goals. In my case I set up a goal of writing for at least one hour each day. For each day I do not accomplish my goal $10 will be donated to a charity that I do not personally support; in this case the National Rifle Association. I don’t want to get into an argument about gun control or the right to bear arms, I believe there are pros and cons to both sides of that argument, I just don’t want to support the NRA fiscally.
I will be posting updates on my goal to Stickk as well as to this blog, so if you’re also a Stickk user please send me a friend request so we can work towards our goals together.
